Good evening, my name is Harry from the United Kingdom who, having had some Christmas money decided to splash out and buy both the available series on DVD having watched the first series on the BBC when it was first launched and the second series on the Kix channel when that was launched (and which came as rather a surprise I can tell you).
Now, because of this there are two small problems I have. Firstly, I cannot speak a word of French to save my life and therefore, secondly, I am only current up the end of the second series (in truth I am about half way through the first series but will try and reach the end of the second series before too long), but I will try and take part in things as best I can and (if it is allowed) would be only too happy to post some maps to try and get a sense of the geography of things.

Hi, HarryHayfield (can I call you "HH" for short?) and welcome ! 
Don't worry, we are happy to have non-French speaking members on the forum - although we are aware that it makes things a little more complicated for you - and there are several people here who speak English well enough to have a decent and pleasant conversation, so you should be more than fine.
As for speaking French, well, maybe we'll teach you a thing or two!
Anyway, I hope you will enjoy it here!
